Privacy notice

KinkyChemistry is operated by Jay Davis trading as KinkyChemistry. Privacy enquiries and rights requests: kinkychemistry@outlook.com.

Information we handle

Account and contact identifiers, age-assurance status, profile and sexual-life preferences, approximate location, matches, messages, posts, events, community activity, media, safety reports, payment entitlement status, sessions, consent records and security/audit data. KC does not receive your full Patreon payment-card details.

Lawful bases

Sexual-life and similar sensitive profile information is special-category data. KC relies on explicit consent for optional compatibility processing. You can withdraw that consent in Privacy settings; this stops that use but does not undo processing already carried out lawfully.

Age assurance

Didit performs the configured age check. KC stores the result, provider reference, relevant timestamps and audit information rather than using verification evidence as public profile content. Photo-based KC+ verification is reviewed privately by authorised administrators and is never displayed publicly.

Private messages and moderation

Direct messages are encrypted in transit but are not end-to-end encrypted. An authorised owner-administrator may access message content only where reasonably necessary for a recorded safety, safeguarding, fraud or serious-abuse investigation. Review is read-only and audited; the tool cannot impersonate a member or secretly send, edit or delete their messages.

Providers and international transfers

Providers include Didit for age assurance, Patreon for KC+ entitlement, Microsoft for operational email, and hosting, anti-malware and encrypted backup suppliers. Where information is processed outside the UK, KC uses an applicable adequacy decision or contractual safeguards and limits the information shared to what the provider needs.

We do not sell your data

Your personal information is not for sale. KC does not sell or rent member profiles, messages, locations, preferences or contact details to advertisers or data brokers. KinkyChemistry is funded by optional KC+ memberships through Patreon and clearly labelled advertising on the site. Advertisers may receive campaign totals such as impressions and clicks; they do not receive member identities or private account data.

Retention

Your choices and rights

Members can pause discovery, change profile visibility, withdraw sensitive-profile consent, download an account archive, revoke album access, end sessions and schedule deletion. You may request access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability, or object where the law provides. You can complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.

Cookies and security

KC currently uses only essential security and session storage needed to sign members in, keep accounts secure and prevent abuse. These essential technologies do not require an optional-cookie consent banner. KC does not use advertising tracking cookies. If non-essential analytics or advertising cookies are introduced later, they will stay off until you choose whether to allow them. Reasonable technical and organisational safeguards are used, but no online service can promise zero risk. Report suspected account compromise immediately using the contact address above.
